Sunday Service

Instructions for June 7th Gathering at the Barn

We are anxious to return to in-person gatherings because...

  • We believe that gathering as a community is an essential part of an expression of the body of Christ as faith is not only a singular, individual expression.

  • We believe in creating a physical space where we can experience the Eucharist together.

  • We believe in welcoming those who may not have a place to belong.

  • We believe that caring for each other (which includes physical care towards health and refuge from fear and hate) is a privilege as we serve Christ.

Given the current global and national issues we all face, we hold all of this in tension as we step back into a physical gathering space.  Our goal is to find strength and community together while not putting anyone's health at risk.

For the time being, some of our practices of gathering will need to adjust....

First, our expression of the Eucharist will need to be practiced slightly differently. We will still serve the bread and wine; however, we will do so in a way that limits serving each other to each family unit with a pre-divided portion of the Eucharist.  If you would be more comfortable bringing bread and wine with you, this is also good.

Second, we would ask each family to try and maintain the recommended social distance from others by bringing your own chairs and/or blankets that can be appropriately spaced from other families.

Third, weather permitting, we will move our gathering outside of the barn to enjoy the sunshine and provide additional space. If we are meeting outside of the building, masks are optional.

However, if we meeting inside due to weather, we will follow the recommendations of the Arkansas Department of Health. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the recommendations via the Arkansas Department of Health Website.

If someone is not comfortable attending at this point, we will gladly live stream the gathering. We would just ask that you contact us ahead of time so that we can ensure we have the proper equipment set up to allow participation.

If you have any questions and/or special needs, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Your continued participation in this community is valued and needed, and we will strive to make every accommodation.

By Our Love

Brothers, let us come together

Walking in the spirit, there's much to be done

We will come reaching out from our comforts

And they will know us by our love

Sisters, we were made for kindness

We can pierce the darkness as He shines through us

We will come reaching with a song of healing

And they will know us by our love

The time is now, come church arise

Love with His hands, see with His eyes

Bind it around you, let it never leave you

And they will know us by our love

Children, you are hope for justice

Stand firm in the truth now, set your hearts above

You will be reaching long after we're gone

And they will know you by your love

The time is now, come church arise

Love with His hands, see with His eyes

Bind it around you, let it never leave you

And they will know us by our love

The time is now, come church arise

Love with His hands, see with His eyes

Bind it around you, let it never leave you

And they will know us by our love

Lord I Need You

Lord, I come, I confess

Bowing here I find my rest

Without You I fall apart

You're the One that guides my heart

Lord, I need You, oh, I need You

Every hour I need You

My one defense, my righteousness

Oh God, how I need You

Where sin runs deep Your grace is more

Where grace is found is where You are

Where You are, Lord, I am free

Holiness is Christ in me

Lord, I need You, oh, I need You

Every hour I need You

My one defense, my righteousness

Oh God, how I need You

So teach my song to rise to You

When temptation comes my way

When I cannot stand I'll fall on You

Jesus, You're my hope and stay

Lord, I need You, oh, I need You

Every hour I need You

My one defense, my righteousness

Oh God, how I need You

You're my one defense, my righteousness

Oh God, how I need You

My one defense, my righteousness

Oh God, how I need You
