We’re moving!
800 SE C St, Bentonville, AR 72712
Starting October 18, Bread + Wine will have a new home in downtown Bentonville.
We’re excited about what this move makes possible for us. We’ll have space to care for our kids well, and we’ll be closer to the people and places that make up the heart of our city.
But a space doesn’t become home just because we move into it. We need each other to make this place feel like Bread + Wine.
So we’re building a team of people who can help us welcome our neighbors, care for our kids, set up and tear down each week, and make Sunday mornings a little easier for everyone.
There’s a place for you here.
Why downtown?
We love where Bread + Wine has been, and we’re grateful for all that has happened there. But we’ve been dreaming about a space that allows us to do a few things we care deeply about.
We want to make room for families. Our new space gives us the room and resources to offer childcare during our gatherings, so parents can actually participate, breathe, pray, and be present.
We want to be more connected to our city. Downtown Bentonville is growing and changing quickly. Moving here gives us an opportunity to be more present in the life of our community—not just on Sunday mornings but throughout the week.
And we want to make a home together. We’re not simply moving services from one building to another. We’re creating a space where people can gather, meet neighbors, ask honest questions, encounter Jesus, and find that there is room for them here.
That takes all of us.
HELP US MAKE IT HOME
Every Sunday, there are some essential things that help a church feel welcoming.
Someone opens the doors and sets up chairs. Someone helps a family find their way. Someone cares for the kids.
Someone resets chairs and tables at the end of the morning.
All of these things serve to create the kind of place where people can be present, participate, and feel at home.
We’re looking for people who would be willing to serve in one of these ways as we settle into our new space.

Help us turn the Great Hall into Bread + Wine each Sunday morning. This is a fast-paced, efficient team. We have a lot to accomplish in a short window, so we need people who can stay focused, work together, and keep things moving.
Responsibilities
Arrive at the Great Hall driveway on Thaden's campus at 8:15 AM
Unpack worship equipment and childcare materials
Set up the sound system as needed
Set up art and media
Set up Kids Ministry check-in and materials
Set up 7 sandwich boards directing parking and traffic to the Great Hall and Kids areas
Set up chairs in our semi-circle design in the Great Hall
Move empty cases and tubs to the closet on the west side of the Great Hall
-
Help people feel welcome and know where to go when they walk through our doors. You'll be one of the first people people encounter on Sunday morning, especially for those visiting us for the first time.
Responsibilities
Arrive at the Great Hall entrance by 9:10 AM
Locate worship guides and check with the pastor for any special instructions for the morning
Welcome people as they arrive and offer them a worship guide
Help direct families to Kids Ministry
Stand near the entrance until 9:40 AM, including the first ten minutes of service for anyone arriving late
-
Help us get everyone moving in the same direction after the gathering. You don't have to do all the tear down yourself. Your job is to know what needs to happen, help organize the people who pitch in, and make sure we leave the Great Hall ready for whatever comes next.
Responsibilities
Start as soon as service ends at 10:15 AM
Know what the Great Hall should look like when we're done—including where chairs and tables go and what needs to be carried to the Load-In Vehicle
Help direct others who want to pitch in so everyone knows what needs to be done
Reset chairs, tables, trash cans, and bathrooms
Help coordinate the load-out of worship equipment, including sound and Kids Ministry materials
Collect sandwich boards and place them at the Load-In Vehicle
Aim to have all equipment cleared and chairs reset by 10:30 AM. This is a target, not a hard cutoff; our rental includes a grace period if we need a few extra minutes.
-
Help people arrive without wondering where they're supposed to go. Since this is a new location for us, a friendly person in the parking area can make a big difference—especially for people visiting us for the first time.
Responsibilities
Arrive at 9:10 AM
Confirm the traffic sandwich boards placed by the Set Up Team are visible and haven't shifted
Know all 3 parking locations and where overflow should go if the closest lot fills
Direct traffic with kindness and help people find their way
Flag any parking problems—including a blocked lot, confused drivers, or safety concerns—to the pastor or Team Lead
Remain available in the parking lot until 9:40 AM, as needed
-
Help create a safe, fun, and welcoming place for our kids—and give their parents some time to sit with God and not be needed. Caring well for our kids is one of the ways we care well for their parents.
