Lyrics

We Will Never See the End

Verse 1

Where can we run, Where can we hide
That You will not find us
Deepest of depths, Highest of heights
Your love, it chases us

No matter where we've been, No matter what we've done
We can't escape Your love

Chorus

We will never see the end, We will never see the end
Of Your goodness
We will never see the end, We will never see the end
Of Your goodness

Verse 2

Though we pass through the fire, Or we pass through the flood
You will be with us
Though we walk through the valley, The darkest of night
Your love will be our light

And when we are in plenty, Or we are in want
You will always be enough

Chorus

We will never see the end, We will never see the end
Of Your goodness
We will never see the end, We will never see the end
Of Your goodness

Bridge

In our darkest hours, On our hardest days
We do not have to be afraid
For You will never leave, You will not forsake
The promises that You have made

Cornerstone

Verse 1

My hope is built on nothing less, Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly trust in Jesus’ Name

Chorus

Christ alone, Cornerstone
Weak made strong, In the Saviour’s love
Through the storm, He is Lord
Lord of all

Verse 2

When darkness seems to hide His face, I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale, My anchor holds within the veil
My anchor holds within the veil

Chorus

Christ alone, Cornerstone
Weak made strong, In the Saviour’s love
Through the storm, He is Lord
Lord of all
He is Lord___, Lord of all___

Christ alone, Cornerstone
Weak made strong, In the Saviour’s love
Through the storm, He is Lord
Lord of all

Verse 3

When He shall come with trumpet sound, oh may I then in Him be found
Dressed in His righteousness alone, Faultless stand before the throne

Chorus

Christ alone, Cornerstone
Weak made strong, In the Saviour’s love
Through the storm, He is Lord
Lord of all

Christ alone, Cornerstone
Weak made strong, In the Saviour’s love
Through the storm, He is Lord
Lord of all

Nothing but the Blood of Jesus

Verse 1

What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Chorus

O precious is the flow that makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know; nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Verse 3

Nothing can for sin atone, nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Naught of good that I have done: nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Chorus

O precious is the flow that makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know; nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Verse 4

This is all my hope and peace, nothing but the blood of Jesus.
This is all my righteousness, nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Chorus

O precious is the flow that makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know; nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Refrain

Hallelujah, Hallelujah; I know it was the blood
Could've only been the blood

Prayer

4 Movements:

Centering Focus - Reflection and Petition - Prayer of Thanks - Lord’s Prayer
(Words in parentheses and italics are not spoken)

Centering Focus - Nicene Creed

I believe in one God, the Father almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.

God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.

For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.

He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic (universal) and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Reflection and Petition
(Open your life to God and say whatever needs to be said)

Prayer for Grace

Lord God, Almighty and Everlasting Father, you have brought us into safety this new day; preserve us by your mighty power, that we may not fall into sin, nor become by adversity; and in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father in heaven, may your name be revered as holy.
May your kingdom come.
May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not bring us to the time of trial, but rescue us from the evil one.

Amen.

Scripture

Ezekiel 37:1-14

The Valley of Dry Bones

37 The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”

4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath[a]enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

11 Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’

12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13 Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. 14 I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’”

Lyrics

Verse 1

How great the chasm that lay between us, How high the mountain I could not climb
In desperation, I turned to heaven, And spoke Your name into the night
Then through the darkness, Your loving kindness
Tore through the shadows of my soul
The work is finished, the end is written
Jesus Christ, my living hope

Verse 2

Who could imagine so great a mercy?
What heart could fathom such boundless grace?
The God of ages stepped down from glory, To wear my sin and bear my shame
The cross has spoken, I am forgiven, The King of kings calls me His own
Beautiful Savior, I'm Yours forever, Jesus Christ, my living hope

Chorus

Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free,
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain, There's salvation in Your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope

Verse 3

Then came the morning that sealed the promise, Your buried body began to breathe
Out of the silence, the Roaring Lion, Declared the grave has no claim on me
(Repeat)
Jesus, Yours is the victory!

Chorus

Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free,
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain, There's salvation in Your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope
