Lyrics

The Whole Earth is Full of Your Glory

Verse 1

The whole earth is full of your glory

Sure as the stars shine above

Sure as the river winds through the valley

The whole earth is full of your love

The whole earth is full of your goodness

There’s good in each glimmer of light

The secrets you paint into every sunset

The song you sing every night

Chorus 1

Oh I don’t want to miss it

Oh open my eyes

I know if I go looking

I’ll find you every time

Verse 2

The whole earth is full of your patiеnce

The tall oak begins as a seed

If you took your timе when you made the blue mountains

I know you‘ll be patient with me

The whole earth is full of your mercy

Like fields that you water with rain

And like the wild lilies spring up on the hillside

New life will grow out of my pain

Chorus 2

Oh I don’t want to miss it

Oh open my eyes

I know if I go looking

I’ll find you yes ill find you

Cause oh, everything’s singing

Oh, I’m singing along

I know it must be what I'm made for

To join the ancient song

Verse 3

The whole earth is full of your glory

And I feel it ringing so true

When I’m looking into the eyes of another

I know I am looking at you

Chorus 3

Oh I don’t want to miss it

Oh open my eyes

I know if I go looking

I’ll find you yes ill find you

Cause oh, everything’s singing

Oh, I’m singing along

I know it must be what I'm made for

To join the ancient song

Verse 4

The whole earth is full of your glory

Sure as the stars shine above

Sure as the river winds through the valley

The whole earth is full of your love

The whole earth is full of your love

Cannons

Verse 1

It's falling from the clouds

A strange and lovely sound

I hear it in the thunder and rain

It's ringing in the skies

Like cannons in the night

The music of the universe plays

Chorus

You are holy great and mighty

The moon and the stars declare who You are

I'm so unworthy, but still You love me

Forever my heart will sing of how great You are

Verse 2

Beautiful and free

Song of Galaxies

It's reaching far beyond the milky way

Lets join in with the sound

C'mon let's sing it loud

As the music of the universe plays

Chorus

You are holy great and mighty

The moon and the stars declare who You are

I'm so unworthy, but still You love me

Forever my heart will sing of how great You are

Bridge

All glory, honor, power is Yours amen

All glory, honor, power is Yours amen

All glory, honor, power is Yours forever amen (Repeat)

Chorus

You are holy great and mighty

The moon and the stars declare who You are

I'm so unworthy, but still You love me

Forever my heart will sing of how great You are

My Jesus I Love Thee

Verse 1

My Jesus, I love thee, I know thou art mine;

for thee all the follies of sin I resign;

my gracious Redeemer, my Savior art thou;

if ever I loved thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.

Verse 2

I love thee because thou hast first loved me

and purchased my pardon on Calvary's tree;

I love thee for wearing the thorns on thy brow;

if ever I loved thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.

Verse 3

I'll love thee in life, I will love thee in death,

and praise thee as long as thou lendest me breath,

and say when the deathdew lies cold on my brow:

If ever I loved thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.

Verse 4

In mansions of glory and endless delight,

I'll ever adore thee in heaven so bright;

I'll sing with the glittering crown on my brow:

If ever I loved thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.

Prayer

3 Movements: Centering Focus – Awareness and Gratitude – Our Father

Centering Focus

Eternal God—Creator of everything—Light and Life and the Ground of our Being, we give this time and attention to you. (silent reflection)

Awareness and Gratitude

Become aware of life around you - What do you notice – For what are you grateful

Our Father (The Lord’s Prayer)

All: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

All: Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us.

Collect (Prayer of Intention for our Gathering)

Almighty God, whose Son is the light of the world. Enlighten us and illuminate our lives by your Word and Sacraments, that we may reflect the radiance of Christ, that he would be known and worshipped and obeyed everywhere; through Jesus Christ, who with you and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns now and forever. Amen.

Scripture

John 1:29-42

John Testifies About Jesus

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.”

Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.”

John’s Disciples Follow Jesus

The next day John was there again with two of his disciples. When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!”

When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus. Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, “What do you want?”

They said, “Rabbi” (which means “Teacher”), “where are you staying?”

“Come,” he replied, “and you will see.”

So they went and saw where he was staying, and they spent that day with him. It was about four in the afternoon.

Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus.

Lyrics

Gratitude

Verse 1

All my words fall short, I got nothin' new

How could I express all my gratitude?

I could sing these songs as I often do

But every song must end and You never do

Chorus

So I throw up my hands and praise You again and again

'Cause all that I have is a hallelujah, hallelujah

And I know it's not much, but I've nothin' else fit for a King

Except for a heart singin', "Hallelujah, hallelujah"

Verse 2

I've got one response, I've got just one move

With my arm stretched wide, I will worship You

Chorus

So I throw up my hands and praise You again and again

'Cause all that I have is a hallelujah, hallelujah

And I know it's not much, but I've nothin' else fit for a King

Except for a heart singin', "Hallelujah, hallelujah"

Bridge

Oh, come on, my soul

Oh, don't you get shy on me, lift up Your song

'Cause you've got a lion inside of those lungs

Get up and praise the Lord (repeat)

Chorus

So I throw up my hands and praise You again and again

'Cause all that I have is a hallelujah, hallelujah

And I know it's not much, but I've nothin' else fit for a King

Except for a heart singin', "Hallelujah, hallelujah"
