Lyrics

THE WHOLE EARTH IS FULL OF YOUR GLORY

Verse 1
The whole earth is full of your glory, sure as the stars shine above
Sure as the river winds through the valley, the whole earth is full of your love

The whole earth is full of your goodness, There’s good in each glimmer of light
The secrets you paint into every sunset, The song you sing every night

Choru
Oh I don’t want to miss it, Oh open my eyes
I know if I go looking, I’ll find you every time

Verse 2
The whole earth is full of your patience, the tall oak begins as a seed
If you took your time when you made the blue mountains
I know you‘ll be patient with me

The whole earth is full of your mercy, like fields that you water with rain
And like the wild lilies spring up on the hillside, New life will grow out of my pain

Chorus
Oh I don’t want to miss it, Oh open my eyes
I know if I go looking, I’ll find you yes ill find you
Cause oh, everything’s singing, Oh, I’m singing along
I know it must be what I'm made for, to join the ancient son

Verse 3
The whole earth is full of your glory, And I feel it ringing so true
When I’m looking into the eyes of another, I know I am looking at you

Chorus
Oh I don’t want to miss it, Oh open my eyes
I know if I go looking, I’ll find you every time

Verse 4
The whole earth is full of your glory, Sure as the stars shine above
Sure as the river winds through the valley, The whole earth is full of your love
The whole earth is full of your love

ALL THE POOR AND POWERLESS

Verse 1
All the poor and powerless; and all the lost and lonely
All the thieves will come confess; and know that You are holy
And know that You are holy

Chorus
And all will sing out hallelujah
And we will cry out hallelujah

Verse 2
All the hearts who are content; and all who feel unworthy
And all who hurt with nothing left
Will know that You are holy

Chorus
And all will sing out hallelujah
And we will cry out hallelujah

(Repeat)

Bridge
Shout it, Go on scream it from the mountains
Go on and tell it to the masses; that He is God
(Repeat)

Chorus
And all will sing out hallelujah
And we will cry out hallelujah

MY JESUS I LOVE THEE

Verse 1
My Jesus, I love thee, I know thou art mine;
for thee all the follies of sin I resign;
my gracious Redeemer, my Savior art thou;
if ever I loved thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.

Verse 2
I love thee because thou hast first loved me
and purchased my pardon on Calvary's tree;
I love thee for wearing the thorns on thy brow;
if ever I loved thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.

Verse 3
I'll love thee in life, I will love thee in death,
and praise thee as long as thou lendest me breath,
and say when the deathdew lies cold on my brow:
If ever I loved thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.

Verse 4
In mansions of glory and endless delight,
I'll ever adore thee in heaven so bright;
I'll sing with the glittering crown on my brow:
If ever I loved thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.

Prayer

4 Movements (read together):

Centering Focus - Reflection and Petition - Prayer of Confession - The Lord’s Prayer

Centering Focus
T
ake a deep breath. Pause and settle into the present moment:

Leader
When despair for the world grows in me and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water,
and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

All

O God, we thank you for the grace and peace of the world as You made it.
Thank you for teachers like Wendell Berry.
Teach us to listen for quiet assurances and watch for the subtle ways
You reach out to us and invite us into your life and wisdom.
Lord have mercy and hear our prayer.

Reflection and Petition
(Open your life to God and say what needs to be said)

Prayer of Confession
All
Most Merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought,
word and deed; by what we have done, and by what we have left undone.
We have not loved you with our whole heart;
we have not loved our neighbor as ourselves.
We are truly sorry and we humbly repent.
For the sake of your Son, Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us;
that we might delight in your will and walk in your ways,
for the honor of your Name.

The Lord’s Prayer
All
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come, thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.

Scripture

Psalm 27

Of David.

1 The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked advance against me to devour me,
it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall.
3 Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.
4 One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.
5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.
6 Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me;
at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make music to the Lord.
7 Hear my voice when I call, Lord; be merciful to me and answer me.
8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!”
Your face, Lord, I will seek.
9 Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger;
you have been my helper.
Do not reject me or forsake me, God my Savior.
10 Though my father and mother forsake me,
the Lord will receive me.
11 Teach me your way, Lord; lead me in a straight path
because of my oppressors.
12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against
me, spouting malicious accusations.
13 I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
14 Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Lyrics

NEVER SEE THE END

Verse 1
Where can we run? Where can we hide?
That You will not find us
Deepest of depths, Highest of heights
Your love it chases us

No matter where we've been;
No matter what we've done
We can't escape Your love

Chorus
And we will never see the end
We will never see the end
Of Your goodness
(Repeat)

Verse 2
Though we pass through the fire;
Or we pass through the flood
You will be with us
Though we walk through the valley;
The darkest of night
Your love will be our light

And when we are in plenty; Or we are in want
You will always be enough

Chorus
And we will never see the end
We will never see the end
Of Your goodness
(Repeat)

Bridge
In our darkest hours
On our hardest days
We do not have to be afraid

For You will never leave
You will not forsake
The promises that You have made
(Repeat)

Chorus
And we will never see the end
We will never see the end
Of Your goodness
(Repeat)
