Lyrics

You Are So Good To Me

Chorus
You are beautiful my sweet, sweet song
You are beautiful my sweet, sweet song
You are beautiful my sweet, sweet song
And I will sing again

[Verse 1]
You are so good to me
You heal my broken heart
You are my Father in Heaven
You are so good to me
You heal my broken heart
You are my Father in Heaven

Chorus
You are beautiful my sweet, sweet song
You are beautiful my sweet, sweet song

[Verse 2]
You ride upon the clouds
You lead me to the truth
You are the Spirit inside me
You ride upon the clouds
You lead me to the truth
You are the Spirit inside me

Reckless Love

Verse 1

Before I spoke a word, You were singing over me
You have been so, so good to me
Before I took a breath, You breathed Your life in me
You have been so, so kind to me

Chorus

Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
Oh, it chases me down, fights 'til I'm found, leaves the 99
And I couldn't earn it, and I don't deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God

Verse 2

When I was Your foe, still Your love fought for me
You have been so, so good to me
When I felt no worth, You paid it all for me
You have been so, so kind to me

Bridge

There's no shadow You won't light up
Mountain You won't climb up
Coming after me
There's no wall You won't kick down
Lie You won't tear down
Coming after me (repeat)

Chorus

Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
Oh, it chases me down, fights 'til I'm found, leaves the 99
I couldn't earn it, I don't deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God

Great Are You Lord

Verse

You give life, You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope, You restore every heart that is broken
And great are You, Lord

Chorus

It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise, we pour out our praise
It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise to You only

Verse

You give life, You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope, You restore
Every heart that is broken
And great are You, Lord

Chorus

It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise, we pour out our praise
It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise to You only

Bridge

All the earth will shout Your praise
Our hearts will cry, these bones will sing
Great are You, Lord
(REPEAT)

Luke 18:1-8

The Parable of the Persistent Widow

18 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justiceagainst my adversary.’

“For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’”

And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

Prayers of the People

Our Father in heaven, teach us to reverence your Name. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven—just how it is where you are, let it also be here.

Give us today the things you know we need, so we can learn to trust and not worry about tomorrow

Forgive us where we overstep, or have debts with you, or sin; as we forgive people who overstep, who owe us, and have sinned against us.

Don’t lead us into temptation or testing—you know our frame that we are but dust—we can only take so much. Deliver us from all evil. Amen.

If there are prayerful words or phrases that come up for you, we invite you to pray them now, quietly or aloud .

Brokenness Aside

Verse 1

Will Your grace run out if I let You down

'Cause all I know is how to run

Chorus

('Cause) I am a sinner

If it's not one thing it's another

Caught up in words tangled in lies (oh yeah)

But You are a Savior

And You take brokenness aside

And make it beautiful beautiful (oh yeah)

Verse 2

Will You call me child when I tell You lies

'Cause all I know is how to cry

Bridge

You make it beautiful You make it beautiful

You make it beautiful You make it beautiful

Ending

Oh You make it beautiful beautiful

Oh Lord You make it beautiful beautiful
